It is developed in collaboration with rural small-holder women farmers in Kenya as an alternative source for agricultural information. Using the Mozilla Swahili data sets, the mobile-enabled chatbot can be used on both feature phones (kabambes) and smartphones by rural smallholder farmers. The interactive Swahili chatbot is powered by a database of frequently asked questions from smallholder women farmers, a marginalized and digitally excluded group.",

Elish and Watkins chronicle the integration of Sepsis Watch through a sociotechnical lens: one that acknowledges the human labor required to harmonize a technical system with existing organizational and social structures. The integration of an AI system creates breakages in social structures that must be repaired in order for the technology to work as intended.",

Researchers worldwide use complex diagnostic systems to understand the nuclear fusion reaction that occurs in a plasma. One of these diagnostics uses reflectometry techniques – the propagation of waves – similar to RADAR.\nWe are creating an open source library that helps researchers use and handle reflectometry data and give easy access to example data! No need to have every new researcher rewrite the same functions over again!",
